I marched with The Battalion in 2024, here's what our show was about.

The full name of the show was "Dead Reckoning: Folly of the Spanish Armada".
The concept was telling the story of the Spanish Armada, and representing the
cockiness and misfortune of the Spaniards. The repertoire included all the drum
corps classics: Spanish Fantasy parts 1 and 4, My Spanish Heart, Malaga, and
Malagueña.
Our show was very well received by the crowd, and the judges. We tore through
Open Class like no corps has before. We placed 4th at Open Class World
Championships and we were voted Most Improved Corps by the other Open Class
corps. After that, we went on to DCI World Championship prelims. At prelims,
we placed 25th and made semifinals for the first time in The Battalion's history.
We placed 24th in semifinals and tied with Jursey Surf for a score of 74.425.
Overall, this season was very successful for the The Battalion. I'm so damn proud
of the 2024 hornline for what we did. I'd have no other season as my rookie year.
